A rich goldsmith asks his son to look after his shop and business now that he had graduated from his college. Reluctantly the guy obliges to his father and starts looking after his shop. One day soon after his father had left the shop, the guy comes out of the shop and looks around searching for something that piques his interest. He notices an old well, on which there was an old board hanging which said “WISHING WELL”.

The guy notices a lady standing in front of the well with her back facing the well, closing her eyes, she prays something and throws the coin into the well and leaves. As the guy curiously looks at this whole thing another small kid comes to the wishing well. The boy has a school bag and torn out shoes. He takes out a 50 paisa coin and prays “Oh wishing well I want a new shoes, or else they'll not allow me to the school from tomorrow, please send me a pair of shoe soon”. So praying, the kid marches towards his house, this guy just follows the kid till his house leaving his shop to his worker's custody.
That evening the guy goes shopping with his girlfriend to buy a pair of school shoe, his girlfriend asks “ Why are u doing this?”, for which he replies “It’s a wishing well, and am just WISHING HIM WELL” and smiles.
The next morning the kid opens the front door to find a pair of shoe lying on the doorsteps and the kid jumps with delight. The guy watches all this from a distance and being happy for what he had done, leaves the place.
Watching over the wishing well becomes the guy's favorite past time and after a few days when the kid returns to the wishing well, this guy hides behind the well to hear the wish like a sincere genie. This time the kid prays and says “ Wishing well, all my friends are bursting crackers, I want to burst them too, but mummy papa can’t afford it, so please get me some crackers”.
The guy again happily buys some expensive crackers for which his girlfriend asks “till when will you continue doing this?” for which the guy says “my dad's a rich man and what wish can I not fulfill of a small kid” and places them at the doorstep of the kid's house. After few minutes the kid comes out and is overjoyed to see his wish coming true again.
For the next few weeks the kid never returns to the wishing well. Curious to know how the kid is doing, he goes to the kid’s place, only to find the house locked. The guy gets sad as making the kids wishes true had become his job now.
Everyday the guy goes near the well and eagerly waits for the kid to come again. One day finally the kid comes to the wishing well, the kid now has brought his whole piggy bank and his school shoe and prays “Wishing well, please take my piggy bank, and your shoes, my mom has gone to meet God, wishing well please bring her back to me and bursts into tears”, seeing this the guy realizes he’s too small, and can't control everything and with a lot of grief runs towards the kid, hugs it and starts crying.
